Teressa is a creative marketing and branding professional with extensive experience in tech and entertainment. She started her career in film/television marketing and development for entertainment studios including Sony Pictures, where she worked on digital properties and syndicated shows such as Crackle and Seinfeld.
Teressa branched into product marketing and optimization at Aereo, a New York-based tech startup whose cloud-based DVR/antenna technology enabled consumers to watch and record live broadcast TV online. Aereo’s highly publicized US Supreme Court battle became a landmark case with significant implications on national policy and the future of competition, consumer choice, and innovation in the video marketplace. Teressa then led marketing for AMC’s SVOD service Shudder, the leading premium online video network serving horror fans with curated worldwide programming.
After relocating to San Francisco (her hometown), Teressa joined The Push and is excited to partake in creating a film about the Korgan’s unique and inspiring experience. She is passionate about providing access to incredible stories like theirs that are in need of being told.
Teressa is an avid traveler and loves photography, food of all kinds, scuba diving and of course, documentaries. She holds a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
