Jeffrey Allard is President and founder of Indie Entertainment, a San Francisco based film finance and production company formed in 2002.
Jeff has produced over a dozen movies including the critically acclaimed family comedy, Ping Pong Summer starring Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon which world premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and was released theatrically the following Summer. Subsequently, Jeff produced Interwoven starring Oscar winner Mo’Nique (Precious), The Night Watchmen starring James Remar (Dexter, Warriors) and A Beginner’s Guide to Snuff (Directed by the Butcher Bros), all scheduled to be released in 2016. Additionally, Jeff produced Holy Ghost People starring Emma Greenwell (Shameless) and Brendan McCarthy (True Blood) which world premiered at SXSW 2013 and was released in select theaters in 2014.
Jeff’s other productions include the psychological thriller, Liars All, starring Sara Paxton (The Innkeepers) and Matt Lanter (90210) which was released in June 2013 and The Violent Kind which he produced along with producers Malek Akkad (Halloween) and Andy Gould (Grindhouse) and directed by The Butcher Brothers (The Hamiltons), which world premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011. His other productions include, Tomorrow is Today, starring Scout Taylor Compton (Halloween), an official selection of the Montreal World Film Festival and award winner at four international films festivals, A Darker Reality (starring Daniel Baldwin) and the vampire thriller BLED.
Jeff executive produced with Michael Bay (Transformers) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, one of the top grossing independent films of 2003 and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, which was released worldwide by New Line Cinema in 2006. These two films have grossed more than $250 million in worldwide sales.
Prior to founding Indie Entertainment, Jeff served as Chief Operating Officer of Bay View Capital’s commercial leasing operations ($5 billion NYSE listed company acquired by US Bank Corp) and held executive positions at Warren Capital (a commercial finance company) and The CIT Group. Jeff holds a BA from UC Berkeley.
